The home of Mr. Nguyễn Văn Chín and Mrs. Đỗ Thị Mận in Chí Linh City, Hải Dương Province, is no ordinary house. Nestled within a lush 7,200-square-meter (approximately 2-acre) garden, their property is adorned with a wide variety of flowers and ornamental plants. Thanks to the family’s background in gardening and ornamental plant business, the garden is lovingly tended and beautifully designed. They've even given it a name: “Mận Chín Flower Garden.”
Mr. and Mrs. Chín live here together with their eldest son’s family and grandchildren. The entire household takes part in maintaining the garden, a task they compare to “raising a newborn” — one that demands care, attention, and patience. From early morning until late at night, the family is busy gardening and beautifying the space.
The spacious, airy garden is filled with hundreds of plant and flower species, creating a serene and comfortable living environment that is in perfect harmony with nature.
At the front of the house, a lotus pond blooms vibrantly under the sunlight. Elsewhere, a small landscaped area features water lilies. Not only does the garden boast a large lotus pond, but it also has numerous potted lotus plants that are carefully nurtured, producing abundant blossoms.
A green grass lawn in front of the house provides a safe and open play space for the grandchildren. There’s even a small swimming pool where the kids can splash around during summer afternoons. The garden is also a setting for capturing joyful childhood memories — a place where everyday life feels like a vacation.
